Luca Artioli: Photographer
Luca Artioli never intended to become a photographer. It started very simply as seeking out nature as he was going through a hard period in his life, and in turn this healing process became a new artistic exploration.
“I tried to…I need, actually, the power of nature to recharge my battery.”
He uses a unique method in his pieces, showcasing movement in a way that would mimic how he would see them in his exploration.
“It was not right for me to depict the plants as still because the plants and nature is constantly in movement.”
Plants gave Luca a sense of hope as he coped with the grief of losing loved ones, and he wants people who see his work to be able to connect with nature like he has.
“They’re still growing, they’re still blooming. There’s still life in them. So there can be a possibility even for me to grow.”
