It’s that time of year again: time for PlantPop’s Film Awards! 

Although we would love to host the celebrations in person, keeping everyone healthy and safe is a bigger priority. As a result, PlantPop’s third annual Film Awards will be posted online, just like last year.  

As a way to get everyone excited for the winner announcements in November, we’ve put together a trailer to show off all of the films that the judges will have to choose from this year. 

From botanical gardens to tattoo artists to flower trucks, PlantPop has had the opportunity to feature a variety of stories this year. With 19 total films, our judging panel has their work cut out for them.

This trailer is only a taste of the entries. 

All of the films will be compiled under the Film Festival tab on our website the first weekend of November, with our winners announced on the following Monday, November 8th.

Jack Ryan, Production Designer with New Dominion Pictures

Nakia Maples, The Philly Plant Guy. Nakia was the subject of a PlantPop film and his film won the POP Award & Best Editing for 2019

Art Parkerson, Owner of Lancaster Farms and benefactor of PlantPop

John Cann, Business Development Officer at Lancaster Farms

Meg Canalichio, Professional Photographer & Psychology major

Featuring films by Nick Castronuova, Mia Allen + Chris Eadicicco, Jonathan Rodgers, Bettina Hanna, Camilla Fantinati, Ben Rountree, Stephen Farris + Kevin Gillingham, and Peter Fuhrman.
