Flourish Flower Truck

Flowers are often a voice to what we might have trouble saying. We send flowers to cheer someone up or cheer someone on. We think about how flowers make the recipient feel, but we don’t always think about how flowers make the grower feel.

Because of her mom’s avid gardening, Savannah Pannell has always been drawn to flowers.

“I’ve always loved flowers, that was instilled in me with my mom growing up…we always had this huge landscape in front of our house....”

With the prospect of having to start over with a new career and still reeling from the loss of a close friend, Savannah tried to come up with something new that would fill her life with joy and bring joy to others. With the support of her husband and family, the Flourish Flower Truck came to be.

“There’s something about flowers that really spoke to me…something that grows from nothing, something that really flourishes….”

After a successful first year with the Flower Truck, she and her team decided to expand the business and buy some land. Within the first year of growing, she realized that 1/4 acre just wasn’t enough to meet the demand so they’ve since expanded again.

Savannah recognizes that all of this is a learning and growing process. She’s made mistakes but knows this is what she’s meant to do.

“The first year I planted a thousand seeds under lights and they all died…it was a spark of ‘this is worth fighting for, this is something I really love.’”
