FIELDTRIP: Hahn Hort Garden

Blacksburg is home to Virginia Tech, one of the most notable colleges in the state. The campus offers many amazing opportunities for students, but one spot that everyone can enjoy is the Hahn Horticulture Garden.

The Hahn Garden was founded almost 40 years ago by Horticulture faculty members. It’s become a staple for students, faculty, and guests alike. Spanning nearly six acres, the garden houses a huge variety of flora, ranging from cacti to Japanese cedars. It also serves as a showcase for local artists, so lovers of plants and art will have plenty to see on their visit.

The Hahn Horticulture Garden is located on Virginia Tech’s main campus. It is open for free, every day from dawn till dusk.

A film by Joshua Wingard.
