Mother Magnolia
The idea of plant parenthood has become very widespread, and one of the big reasons for that is the bonding of the community behind it. Ashley Green embraced this connection to plants and the people that love them because of the pure joy it brought her, and it led to her founding Mother Magnolia.
“Those were my best days, when I got to go, even just walking through a nursery made me feel happier.”
Ashley often has people ask her for advice and she always encourages them to never give up if they kill a plant, but rather to learn from it.
“Things happen, plants die or parts of plants die, and you reroute, and you try your best. And we call it a learning experience, and we move forward.”
Mother Magnolia has given Ashley the gift of building her own local plant parent community that helps each other grow.
“Just like parenting you find your people, you find your village, and you share your ideas.”
