Photosynthesis Floral Design

To bridge the world between art and flowers is a goal that many artists pursue. Rhea is one of those artists, taking the time and care to delicately design and create beautiful art pieces that show off the pure beauty of plants. 

“I think that there is a true value to art. I think it really improves people's lives.”

Rhea works with local growers, like Wind Haven Flower Farm, to source the flowers she uses in her art, getting to know the people involved and growing a relationship that’s lasted almost a decade. 

“I really trust their ability to grow amazing flowers and they've been invaluable just with talking with them and about…what’s seasonal, what's possible to get in the time frame we need.”

Her floral art has always been about spreading joy to people - she loves seeing happiness grown on their faces as they walk around installations she’s made. Additionally, Rhea’s journey has also provided her with the opportunity to grow as an artist. 

“I'm hoping that my inner artist will kind of keep on flourishing and growing throughout this process.”
