Molly Reeder: Illustrator
The natural beauty of plants is hard to compete with. That’s part of what draws artists like Molly Reeder to depict them in their work.
“I think I've always just been attracted to beautiful things and wanted to capture those things in my painting.”
Having houseplants is both inspiring and therapeutic for Molly. She says that they remind her to slow down and enjoy the little beautiful things that are around her every day.
“My relationship with plants is very fueling.”
Molly not only wants to capture the innate beauty of plants in her art, but she also strives to touch each piece with her own personality and style.
“What I want to convey with my style is this line between realistic and whimsical.”
