Power Plant

Power Plant started as just a simple idea for a plant shop, all based around the name. Soon, the idea branched out and it became a local coffee spot for plant lovers. 

“I think just having plants around…makes the space feel more alive. And just like we're all growing as like one.”

The founder of Power Plant, Juan Jimenez, migrated from Mexico with his family when he was just three years old. His parents are a big influence and inspiration on his life, both in hardworking personality and love of plants. 

“My mom has always been super into plants. She's always had, like, the house full of plants.”

Juan wants to inspire people to believe in the power of hard work and dedication because it’s fueled his business and the rest of his life. 

“Anything that they dream or anything that they think is like in reach as long as you have a goal in mind, dedication, and you're resilient.”
