Greenhouse Hotel

If you’re ever traveling to Iceland and missing your houseplants, the Greenhouse Hotel is the place to go. They strive to fill the rooms with plants that you wouldn’t see in an average hotel.

“We wanted to make you feel at home. And I think what's a better way to do it than have plants in the room, and you just feel really comfortable.”

Not only can you find the rooms furnished with plants, but you’ll see them all over the Greenhouse Hotel - hanging from the ducts over the reception area and over the bar as well. 

Co-founder Brynjolfur Baldursson believes that it’s important to highlight nature even indoors because it creates a space with lush greenery and cleaner air, something everyone could use more of.  

“I think that is a bit of a trend at the moment all over the world that we look a little bit inwards. We want to be more in nature.”
