FIELDTRIP: San Diego Botanic Garden

There is no shortage of activities to do in and around San Diego, but if you travel about 40 minutes outside of the city and into Encinitas, you can take the opportunity to explore the beautiful San Diego Botanic Garden. 

You can walk miles of trails and take in the ocean views while also getting to take in over five thousand plant species that they harbor. Everything from aloe to the infamous corpse flower can be seen through the garden - and there’s no better place to see all of the amazing native plants the area has to offer.
