With a global pandemic and an American city under siege by the novel coronavirus, James Johnson remains connected and committed to the community garden, Narrows Botanical Garden in Brooklyn, NY. While the challenges and struggles to adapt to a new normal emerge, families continue to find happiness and resolve in the garden.

As we are moving towards a faceless future, James indicates not everyone is following the garden guidances to wear a face mask. James passion is designing landscapes and nature, so while the controversy of the face mask becomes a political debacle nationwide, he remains committed to sharing and growing the once vacant lot now know as the Narrows Botanical Garden.
