Linnea: Biophilic Designer

Linnea gets her love of plants from her grandparents, having spent most of her time as a child with them in their gardens.

“From a young age, being exposed to so many plants.. it really makes you slow down and look and learn and be in an outdoor environment.”

In a way, she was fated to fall in love with plants. She was named after the book Linnea in Monet’s Garden, which ties both her passions of horticulture and art together.

“It's pretty funny how my name has become my destiny.”

Without even realizing it at the time, Linnea found herself constantly integrating plants into her art, so turning it into a blossoming business made perfect sense.

“I do vividly remember looking through my old sketchbooks and my old work and seeing a constant thread that was so obvious when I was looking for it.”
