Lily Mustelier: Biophilic Designer

“From the moment I wake up, plants inform my life in the way that I am a part of nature. And nature is what moves me.”

Lily grew up around plants. Her father studied agronomy in Cuba and ended up working at one of the largest nurseries in South Florida. She found herself wanting to break away from the commercial side of plants and traveling to reconnect with nature in new ways.

“I did not have any security, but…nature did keep me safe. I felt that communication for the first time with the universe.”

Through her business, Apollo, Lily does interior design centered around plants. She chooses layers of greenery to curate the spaces with, bringing bright, lush energy to the venues.

“I want to merge art, design, nature, all together.”
