FIELDTRIP: Jardin des Plantes, Toulouse

Nestled in a historic district of Toulouse, the Jardin des Plantes has been a landmark of the city for centuries. The gardens were originally created in 1794 to provide medicinal plants to students.
Now, it’s a local leisure spot that provides people a lovely spot to explore hundreds of species of flowers in the various gardens or simply sit in the grass and enjoy being surrounded by nature.
The Jardin des Plantes connects to two other gardens as well through its walking paths, so those visiting can easily access the Jardin du Grand-Rond and the Jardin Royal.
