FIELDTRIP: Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden was recently voted the fourth “Best Botanical Garden” in the Nation by USA Today. It’s a year-round spot to enjoy several beautifully designed gardens and an extensive domed conservatory that houses numerous plant species. The area is gorgeous no matter what time of year. The Botanical Garden offers something for all ages and interests. On their Facebook page, they describe a “place to learn about plants, to marvel at nature, to relax in a beautiful setting, to take garden classes, or to have a wedding or business meeting.”
The goal at Lewis Ginter is to educate the public about nature. The staff here are passionate about connecting people and plants within their historical space by providing an abundance of fun, interesting, and exciting classes and events. It’s never a dull moment no matter where you turn in the gardens.
