Plant shops are more than just places to stock up on the latest houseplant trends. They are more like spaces to unwind and to get to know people.

Plant enthusiasts Hannah Street and Bethany Mieth want to share the joy of plants with their surrounding neighbors in Dallas, Texas. Oasis Plant Shop began and has become a place for growing relationships as well as plants.

“We saw a disconnect with a traditional plant nursery and how its been run and wanted to provide a new approach to plant buying.”

Both Hannah and Bethany grew up around plants and neither could imagine being without them in their daily lives. For Bethany, it’s not only keeping houseplants but also being outside regularly. For Hannah the feeling of peace is what draws her to plants.

“I can never imagine not working with plants and God’s beautiful creations.”

The goal for Oasis is to bring life to their customers’ spaces. Hannah and Bethany hope to transform people’s homes and offices and bring a sense of life into them.

“Plants are the perfect medium for creating a happy space.”
